Sunday, December 6 ~ 11:30 am ~ Rev. Jean Wahlstrom Topic: "Economic Justice and Escalating Economic Inequality." (This is an important topic for 2015, especially at this highly commercialized time of year.) Music: Lynne Walker

Sunday, December 13 ~ 11:30 am ~ Dan Tinen leads the service, Reasoning with the Unreasonable: Recent events have caused a swirl of controversy about the role of religion in the modern world, questioning whether texts written in the Bronze and Iron Ages are dysfunctional or barbaric and should be left behind. Unitarians have a long history of theological inquiry and debate...what wisdom can we bring into the current situation? Dan Tinen will bring some provocative ideas to the pulpit, to be followed by discussion. Music: Lynne Walker

Sunday, December 20 ~ 11:30 am ~ Rev. Steve Wilson, Music: Lynne Walker. topic: "The Right Amount of Christmas" Christmas with all its pomp, circumstance, and transcendence can make me dizzy. If I am not careful, it can even make me cynical. However, when I remember that the season of lights grew up as a response to the darkness that surrounds us in late December, and at its core is a tale of how new life is born in the unlikeliest of places, I feel different, I feel more sympathetic. This is the season when we ask ourselves to stretch our imaginations and our hearts. Come join us.

Thursday, December 31 ~ Congregational Unitarian Society of Bernardston Annual Meeting at 10am. New Year's Eve Pot Luck and Karaoke Party starts at 6pm.
