November 4 Sat. 10am Book discussion – Princess, Life Behind the Veil in Saudi Arabia, by Jean Sasson. Church copies of the book are available. All welcome to this congenial Sat. morning coffee hour conversation.
November 5 Sun. Service: Steve Wilson, minister ~ “Five Pillars: Pilgrimage to Mecca” Islam, the most modern of the world religious traditions is also the most misunderstood.

November 12 Sun. Service: Rev. Al Ciarcia, "FROM BOSTON TO CONCORD" The sermon centers on a bit of history that opened a way of feeling about religion that affects millions of people today, full of hope and meaning.
November 19 Joint Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service 7:30 pm. Please note Sunday service change in time this week only. Steve Wilson, minister and the Bernardston Congregation will host ministers and congregations from our surrounding area churches.
Art! Refreshments and opening of our Meetinghouse Community Art Gallery at 7:00pm before the service.
November 26 MEETINGHOUSE CONCERT: Charlie King and Karen Brandow 3:00pm part of our 4th Sundays Arts and Activism Program Advance sale tickets $8, $10 at the door, children and seniors $5.
Proceeds will benefit our annual outreach to wounded US soldiers: Walter Reed Hospital Soldiers Phone Card Fund.

About our ministers:
Rev. Albert Ciarcia has been serving our church for more than 10 years on the 2nd Sunday of each month throughout the year. Al's wisdom runs deep having served the UU Church of Greater Bridgeport for 32 years and before that Norwich, CT and Central Park West, NYC. He currently is Minister Emeritus of the Bridgeport Church and also serves the New Britain, CT UU fellowship.
Minister, Steve Wilson is a Boston bred social justice activist with a Masters in Divinity in Social Ethics from BU. Steve has worked for The National Interfaith committee for Worker Justice and United for a Fair Economy in Chicago. He was recently Chair of the Unitarian Universalists for a Just Economic Community and has spent over 15 years as a human service provider for the developmentally disabled and mentally ill.
Steve presides on the first and third Sundays. Steve also serves the Northfield, MA and Rutland, VT congregations.
Fourth Sundays are devoted to local and global concerns, guest speakers, special arts programs, and time to be active instead of just listening!
